Basic First Aid
|Basic First Aid||Half day|
This introduction to first aid will teach you everyday first aid skills, which are invaluable when accidents happen around the home or when you are out and about. Unlike some basic first aid courses that don't include CPR, ours does. You will also learn how to effectively treat a choking adult, child, or baby and how to help someone with a minor bleed or burn.
Learners are taught how to check for responsiveness, open an airway, and check for breathing. Practical lessons include CPR, choking and the recovery position as well as applying dressings and slings.
